SPORTS: DEMBELE CROWNED BALLON D’OR WINNER, BECOMES FIRST PSG PLAYER TO WIN PRESTIGIOUS AWARD.

Ousmane Dembele won the 2025 Ballon d’Or, becoming the first Paris Saint-Germain player to claim the honor. He beat out Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal, who finished second, and had a remarkable season with 29 goals and 13 assists in Ligue 1 and Champions League play.

Dembele’s journey to the top was marked by a transformation under PSG’s manager Luis Enrique, who turned him into a striker, proving to be a masterstroke.

Dembele played a crucial role in PSG’s Champions League triumph, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
