SPORTS: PFA MONITORING STERLING, DISASI TREATMENT AT CHELSEA.

The Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) is monitoring Chelsea’s treatment of Raheem Sterling and Axel Disasi, who have been exiled from the first-team squad under manager Enzo Maresca.

Both players are currently training individually are, and the PFA is working with Chelsea to ensure they have access to proper training facilities and designated coaches to help them prepare for potential transfers in January.

Sterling and Disasi were left out of Maresca’s squad after failing to secure transfers away from Stamford Bridge this summer.

Sterling rejected offers from Napoli and Bayern Munich, while a deadline move to fellow Londoners Fulham on deadline day fell through. Disasi turned down approaches from Bournemouth and West Ham, hoping to rejoin Monaco.

Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has stated that neither player will feature for the first team, confirming their current status. The PFA’s involvement aims to address concerns over the players’ treatment and ensure their well-being during this period.

30-year-old England international Raheem Sterling has expressed his disappointment through social media, showcasing his isolation during training. Axel Disasi had hoped to be reintegrated into Maresca’s plans but seems unlikely given the manager’s current stance.
