Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Mason Mount and Matheus Cunha are available for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Chelsea. Both players had been sidelined due to injuries sustained during the 3-2 win over Burnley last month.
Mason Mount Returned to training after being withdrawn at halftime against Burnley due to an undisclosed injury. Amorim might take a cautious approach, potentially using him off the bench in the clash against his former side.
Matheus Cunha is also back in the squad after limping off with a hamstring problem against Burnley. His return could add directness and dynamism to United’s attack.
Other Squad Updates:
• Diogo Dalot: Out with muscle discomfort.
• Lisandro Martinez: Still recovering from a long-term knee injury, expected to return in the coming weeks.
• Tyrell Malacia: Training with the Under-21s as he builds up for a match return.
Manchester United will be taking on Chelsea Saturday September 20 at Old Trafford 17:30. The Red Devils are currently in 14th position in the Premier League table after managing just 4 points from their first 4 games of the season their worst start to a Premier League campaign in their history. Ruben Amorin’s side will be seeking a redemption against the current World Champions.
