𝐍𝐄𝐖𝐒: NIGERIA ECONOMY WILL BOUNCE BACK Soon — Chinese Ambassador

‎The Chinese Ambassador to Nigeria, Yu Dunhai, expressed confidence in Nigeria’s market potential and pledged to be a “reliable partner” in its future growth.

‎He made this known in Abuja when he led a high-level delegation from China’s leading aircraft manufacturer, Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China, on a visit to the
‎Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, on Wednesday.

‎According to a statement by the Minister’s Special Adviser, Media & Communications, Tunde Moshood, the visit focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and opening new opportunities for Nigeria’s aviation sector.

‎Ambassador Yu expressed Beijing’s strong commitment to supporting Nigeria’s aviation growth, describing the country as a critical hub on the continent.

‎In a subsequent meeting, COMAC Vice President Yang Yang led discussions on aircraft leasing, technical support, and long-term collaboration with Nigerian airlines.

‎Keyamo, who previously visited COMAC’s headquarters in China, welcomed the talks, stressing Nigeria’s readiness for a strategic partnership.

‎It can be recalled that on Wednesday, September 17, Keyamo also disclosed a groundbreaking ceremony of Air Peace’s maintenance hangar at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. According to him, the first dry lease will arrive in Nigeria by virtue of Air Peace after Nigeria was removed from the blacklist globally, owing to the implementation of the Cape Town Convention.
