British and Hollywood actor Idris Elba has recently referred to Lagos as one of the most amazing cities in the world. While the exact quote is “Lagos most amazing city in the world,” it showcases his admiration for the city’s vibrancy and energy. Lagos, Nigeria’s commercial capital, is known for its bustling markets, rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit.
“Lagos, if you’ve never been, it’s the most amazing place, city in the world. I had a great time. The talent there is incredible,” Elba said Speaking at the TIFF Tribute Awards, Elba shared his experience filming Dust to Dreams in Lagos alongside Seal, who, for the first time, performed with his Nigerian accent.
