SPORTS: GREALISH SCOOPS AUGUST PREMIER LEAGUE PLAYER OF THE MONTH AWARD.

Everton’s Jack Grealish has won the Premier League’s Player of the Month award for August. Jack Grealish, the English midfielder playing for Everton, received this prestigious award for the first time in his career.

Grealish’s impressive performance in August, with four assists in just three league games, earned him this recognition. He led the Premier League in assists for the month, doubling the tally of any other player.

Grealish set up both goals in Everton’s 2-0 win over Brighton and followed it up with two more assists in a 3-2 victory at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Grealish became the first Everton player to record multiple assists in consecutive Premier League matches and the first player to win the award since Dominic Calvert-Lewin in September 2020.

This award might also boost his chances for a national team recall, with England manager Thomas Tuchel likely keeping a close eye on him.
