The fixtures for the Zenith Bank/Delta Principals’ Cup have been unveiled, with over 1,000 schools expected to participate in the 2025 edition.
The tournament kicks off on September 18 at St. Patrick College, Asaba, with the state governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, set to perform the official kickoff.
Matches will take place across all local government areas in the state from September 22 to 25, with screenings conducted each day prior to the games starting at 2 pm daily.
Zonal matches will be held at eight designated venues within the state between September 30 and October 2.
The final eight teams will play their quarterfinal games on October 7 at four designated venues.
Some specific fixtures include
• Warri South West Local Government: Agogboro Secondary School vs. Ikpere Secondary School on September 22.
• Warri South LG: Obodo Secondary School vs. Nana College on September 22.
• Ukwani Local Government: Amai Secondary School vs. Ezionum Secondary School.
• Bomadi Local Government: 16 teams will compete between September 22 and 26.
A press briefing will also be held on September 16 at the Ministry Conference room ahead of the official kickoff.
