ENTERTAINMENT: MAN ISSUES GRATITUDE AND WARNING TO HILDA BACI AFTER TASTING HER WORLD RECORD JOLLOF RICE.

An unidentified man in a now viral video has called out chef Hilda Baci after having a taste of her largest pot of jollof rice. In the video the man thanked Hilda Baci for the food stating his deep appreciation to her for her kind gesture. But then again he went on to fire a warning to her not to try such attempt ever again.

The young man said he doesn’t know if those always trying to get Guinness world record in Nigeria are been paid for the recognition trying to drag the attention of Nigerian youth from important things in the country. He cited that youths of other countries are fighting for a better government using Nepal and France as examples whereas Nigerian youths are fighting for jollof rice.


“Hida Baci, first of all I go say thank you for the food, for the jollof rice, thank you so much, but abeg I use God name take beg you no try this nonsense again for this Nigeria, thank you for cooking 200 bags of rice wey you take share Nigerian youths make we chop but I see say Nepal youths dey drag for better government France now, their youths dey drag for better government, Nigerian youths dey drag for jollof rice wey be say some part dey taste maggi some part dey taste oil oil abeg no try this nonsense again I take God beg you, I no know whether dem dey pay una to do this type of thing to take drag the attention of Nigerian youths on the important something wey we suppose dey talk for this country so that Nigeria go better” he said in Nigerian pidgin.

Hilda Baci cooked the largest pot of jollof rice, using 200 bags of rice (4,000kg) and 500 cartons of tomato paste, in a custom-built 22,619-litre pot.
Notable figures like Spyro, Funke Akindele, Enioluwa, Peller, and Kaffy were among the crowd cheering her on.


The cooked jollof rice was shared with attendees and donated to charitable causes, emphasizing the event’s purpose beyond just breaking records.
The achievement is pending official verification and confirmation by Guinness World Records.
