The FBI has released photos of a person of interest in the Charlie Kirk shooting, which occurred on September 10, 2025, at Utah Valley University. The images show a male wearing a cap, sunglasses, and a long-sleeve black shirt.
Authorities describe the suspect as a college-aged male and have recovered a bolt-action rifle believed to be the weapon used.
The FBI is leading the investigation and has collected forensic evidence, including palm prints, shoe impressions, and a firearm. No arrests have been made, and the public is encouraged to provide credible tips to aid in the investigation.
A Twitter account under the name Omar Najra Galvz reportedly posted cryptic messages before the shooting, including “Charlie Kirk is coming to my college tomorrow and I really hope someone evaporates him completely.”

However, the authenticity of these posts and connection to the case remain unverified.
Online sleuths have linked Skye Valadez to the case due to a SoundCloud track titled “Charlie Kirk Dead at 31” and Facebook profile details. Valadez’s music project, “God’s Finest Scalpel,” allegedly released an album titled “Death to American Scum.” Despite these claims, there’s no official confirmation linking Valadez to the shooting.
The FBI urges the public to rely on verified information and avoid spreading unverified claims that could hinder the investigation.
A viral selfie circulating online was misattributed to the @NajraGalvz account, highlighting the need for caution when sharing information online.
