SPORTS: ONANA AGREES TO JOIN TRABZONSPOR ON LOAN

Andre Onana, the Manchester United goalkeeper, has agreed to join Turkish Süper Lig club Trabzonspor on a loan deal for the remainder of the season. Trabzonspor will cover Onana’s full salary and offer performance-based bonuses, with no option to make the move permanent.

Onana’s spell at Manchester United has been troubled, with high-profile errors and criticism. He was dropped from the squad after a disappointing Carabao Cup performance and hasn’t featured since.
Manchester united signed Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp on transfer deadline day, paving the way for Onana’s departure.

Onana is expected to make his Trabzonspor debut against Fenerbahçe on September 14, pending finalization of the deal before the Turkish transfer window closes on September 12.

This loan move offers Onana a chance to revive his career away from the intense scrutiny of the Premier League, potentially putting himself in a better position for a permanent transfer next summer.
