Nollywood actress Opeyemi Aiyeola has clarified that Ibrahim Chatta’s recent loss was not of his biological son, but rather his godson, whom he considered like a son. This clarification came after Chatta shared an emotional post on Instagram announcing the death of someone he referred to as his son, leading many to believe it was his biological child.
Chatta shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing his grief over the loss of his godson, but initially didn’t specify the relationship, causing confusion.
Aiyeola stepped in to set the record straight, stating, “Ibrahim Chatta didn’t lose his biological son but a godson, who is also like a son to him. May his pure soul continue to rest peacefully. It’s been an extremely emotional ride so far. God have mercy”.
Following Aiyeola’s clarification, Chatta edited his original post to reflect that the deceased was indeed his godson, not his biological son.
