Veteran Nollywood actor Ibrahim Chatta has lost his son, as announced in a heartfelt Instagram post on September 6, 2025. The 54-year-old actor shared a photo of his late son with a poignant caption, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things.
Rest on, Dear son, champ”. This incident comes just days after fellow Nollywood actress Peju Ogunmola lost her only son, Ayomikun, sending shockwaves through the film community.
The cause of Death hasn’t been disclosed
Chatta had previously lost his first child, a daughter, due to poverty and lack of proper medical care, which he couldn’t afford, leading to her burial in an old wooden Coca-Cola crate.
