NEWS: INSECURITY: DELTA STATE URGED TO TACKLE INSECURITY BY EXPERT IJEH.

Cybersecurity expert Christian Ijeh has urged the Delta State government to tackle insecurity in the state, criticizing the government’s claim that insecurity has reduced in the last four months. Ijeh emphasized the need for the government to work with security agencies, invest in modern surveillance, and rebuild trust in the police.

He cited personal experiences and reports of kidnappings, robberies, and cult clashes in various parts of the state Ijeh faulted the government’s claim that insecurity has reduced, citing reports of ongoing kidnappings, robberies, and cult clashes in Warri, Ughelli, Sapele, and other areas.


Ijeh criticized the government’s response, accusing officials of prioritizing propaganda over addressing the crisis and betraying the public’s trust. “While officials in Asaba claim peace has returned, residents face attacks, robberies, and kidnapping daily, Delta needs a government that listens, not one that deceives itself,” Ijeh who hails from Agbor, Ika South local government area states.


Ijeh urged the government to work with security agencies, invest in modern surveillance, and rebuild trust in the police to effectively tackle insecurity.
