Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola has been hospitalized due to intense online criticism following her clash with veteran actor and director Afeez Owo.
The controversy began when Afeez described Wumi’s movie character in an interview, which she took offense to, sparking widespread reactions on social media.
Wumi shared a photo from her hospital bed, stating that the online drama had taken a toll on her health, with the caption “Internet dragging and ICU are siblings”.
She later expressed regret over her reaction and assured fans she would handle situations better in the future, saying “I have heard you all, will do better next time. Wish me quick recovery”.
