Mykhailo Mudryk, the Chelsea winger, has been banned from driving for six months after accumulating 13 penalty points on his license within 18 months.
The 23-year-old Ukrainian international was fined £660, ordered to pay £130 in court costs, and a £266 victim surcharge.
Mudryk was caught driving 36mph in a 20mph zone on January 24, 2025, in Wandsworth, despite already holding eight penalty points on his license.
He received five more penalty points, bringing the total to 13, which triggered an automatic six-month driving ban.
Mudryk didn’t attend the court hearing in Lavender Hill, instead sending his lawyer to represent him.
Mudryk is currently facing a separate issue with the Football Association after testing positive for a banned substance in December 2024.
He could face a ban of up to four years if found guilty he lost his Chelsea’s number 10 jersey number to Cole Palmer in June leaving him with no designated number at the club.
