COMO AND DELE ALLI PART WAYS

Dele Alli has been released by Como after just one appearance for the club. The 29-year-old former England midfielder joined Como in January 2025 on an 18-month contract but only made one appearance, coming on as a substitute in the 81st minute in a match against AC Milan in March.

Unfortunately, he was sent off 10 minutes later for a rash challenge on fellow countryman Ruben Loftus-Cheek dince then he hasn’t put on the Blue shirt in a match day for the Cesc Fabregas side.

Como and Dele Alli agreed to terminate his contract mutually, with the club stating he wasn’t part of their immediate plans for the 2025-26 season.

It’s worth noting that Dele Alli’s career has been on a downward trajectory since leaving Tottenham Hotspur, with various issues affecting his performance. Despite being only 29, he’s struggled to find a consistent role in any team since leaving Spurs he joined Frank Lampard’s Everton in January 2022 and despite playing a crucial role in saving the club from relegation with notable performance against Crystal Palace in a 3 – 2 come back win he went on loan to Turkish Besiktas in August 2022 where in 15 games he scored 3 goals.

He then return back to Everton the following season but didn’t play a single match for the club the whole of 2023/24 season before being released.

In a Gary Neville podcast’s “the overlap” interview in July 2023 Dele Alli emotionally revealed that he had been sexually abused at the age of 6 started drugs at age 8 and being addicted to sleeping pills
