• Visitation Rights: Women can now visit men they’re engaged to, provided they’re accompanied by an elder. This change aims to give couples more freedom while maintaining accountability.
• Marriage Committee Role: Kumuyi clarified that marriage committees are meant to provide guidance, not enforce rules beyond biblical authority. There’s no scriptural basis for these committees, and their role is to support couples.
