BREAKING: Nigeria Immigration Service Doubles Passport Fees
The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) has announced a hike in passport fees, effective September 1, 2025.
Under the new rates, a 32-page Nigerian international passport with a 5-year validity will now cost ₦100,000, up from the previous ₦50,000. Meanwhile, the 64-page passport, valid for 10 years, will see its price rise from ₦100,000 to ₦200,000.
The NIS stated that the new pricing structure is part of measures to improve passport issuance services and infrastructure.
